Technology is increasingly the backbone of business, powering and enabling every other facet. So it’s perhaps not surprising that the information technology industry takes up nearly a tenth of the spots on the 2016 PROFIT 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

The 49 *INDUSTRY firms on this year’s ranking grew their revenues an average of 408% between 2010 and 2015, creating an additional 3,177 full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs over that period. Collectively they employed 5,246 full-time and 432 part-time employees in 2015.
